L'Origine Hommage Londres 1774

Inspired by the same creative vision as the "Hommage London 1774" Collection by the Manufacture Jaquet Droz, L'Origine transforms two centuries of craftsmanship and tradition into a masterpiece of modern watchmaking.
Inspired by the founder's 18th-century timepieces yet in step with the third millennium, L'Origine is an exclusive model representing cutting-edge technology. The first steel watch ever brought out in an unlimited edition, the 43mm features a case that took over 80 steps to make, manual finish and the secret signature engraved on the self-winding mechanical movement. The hours, minutes and seconds are displayed on a centred opaline slate-grey subdial. Its large bevelled applied ring is entrusted with a new function: displaying Roman numerals for the hours and minutes hands. This innovation is underscored by blued steel screws, whose colour echoes that of the seconds hand as it sweeps past nine cabochons set around the circumference of the subdial. This quest lives again in L'Origine, classic yet contemporary.

PATEK PHILIPPE
Perpetual Calendar Ref 5159

Patek Philippe launches the perpetual calendar with retrograde date in an enlarged officer's style case.
Officer's watches whose backs are protected by dust covers are a long-standing Patek Philippe tradition. The Ref. 5159 is the rediscovery of a legendary timepiece with a perpetual calendar and a retrograde date in a larger case with a redesigned dial.
The 38 mm diameter of the case features a gold dust cover that protects the sapphire-crystal back. The Roman numerals in the hour circle were slightly extended to enhance readability. The dial features a hand-guilloched sunburst pattern in the center, a radiant contrast to the silvery opaline background. The day, month and leap-year displays in apertures, as well as the retrograde date indication with a flyback hand, are elegantly arranged, emphasizing its understated nobility. The moon-phase display in the aperture at 6 o'clock is also eloquently integrated in the layout. The hour and minute hands, which are black oxidized gold, as well as the slender seconds hand, appear to hover above the dial. The Ref. 5159, is one of the few perpetual-calendar watches with a center sweep second. A solid gold dust cover, protects the display back.

Grand Saxonia

Just like the Saxon artists of the bygone days, Lange's master watchmakers are modest individuals who share a passion for perfection. Accordingly the personality of Saxonia is refreshingly understated. Its design focuses entirely on essentials: the sleek contours of the case frame the perfectly legible dial. The sapphire crystal caseback showcases Lange's famous Sax-0-Mat manufacture calibre. The first and the last syllables refer to Saxony, its geographical home, and to the automatic winding mechanism. The "zero" in the middle stands for the zero-reset feature which causes the seconds hand to instantly jump to zero when the crown is pulled. The 40.6mm case is crafted from 18-carat pink gold. The appliqués on the dial and the lancet hands are also made of solid gold. The watch is also available in a 37 mm dial in white, yellow and pink gold.

Classique 5335 Grande Complication - Tourbillon Messidor

The Classique Tourbillon Messidor design salutes the master's ingenious invention according to the French Revolutionary Calendar on 7 Messidor Year IX (June 26, 1801). Driven by a handwoven movement and lodged in a spacious looking carriage, this uncluttered tourbillon design adds its distinctive character to the watch's already fascinating personality.
Its trim, horologically elegant design features curving, swirling bridges and bars that add an unexpected look to the composition. The 18 carat rose gold case with finely fluted caseband and its discreet sapphire crystal stresses the entire design's airy construction, providing a transparent background for the blued Breguet hands. The overall effect is one of grace and harmony, an array of meticulously finished parts lovingly polished, chamfered, chased and scored with parallel decorative strokes by the most versatile of all instruments, the human hand.

Léman Répétition Minutes Aqua Lung

Blancpain presents a revolutionary water-tight case for its Minute Repeater. The world's thinnest and smallest-diameter minute repeater movement which is water-resistant to a depth of 100 metres strikes the hours, quarters and minutes on request.
How is such a feat possible? On a "classic" minute repeater watch, the external repeater slide that actuates the striking mechanism is directly linked to the winding lever. Blancpain has developed an ingenious gear system that connects the repeater slide to the repeater actuating lever via two racks and a transmission shaft, itself composed of two intermediate wheels and fitted with two "O-Ring" gaskets that ensure the system is water-tight. The fine-toned and eminently audible mechanism can be accommodated within such a small space, thanks to the two small hammers striking the so-called "cathedral" gong. The latter boasts a sound that is remarkable both for its richness and its length.
Topped by a glareproofed sapphire crystal, its 40mm-diameter case comes in titanium or 5N red gold. It houses Calibre 351, a self-winding movement comprising 360 parts. The matt black dial displays the hours, minutes and the prestigious signature: "Blancpain Répétition Minutes" - "Pièce unique". The timepiece is fitted with a solid case-back that may be customised according to the owner's wishes. The hand-sewn crocodile leather strap lined with alzavel is fitted with a new folding clasp system composed of two folding blades.
