hung like pollen in the air as Hollywood celebrities and sports stars
attended the premieres of luxury watch brands. The twin towns of Basel
and Geneva almost converted themselves into a makeshift Hollywood
Studio, thanks to the presence of Hollywood biggies rubbing shoulders
with each other. The hosts tried to outdo each other leaving the the
guests amazed by the glitter. The stars included Salma Hayek, Orlando
Bloom, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Campbell, Boris Becker, Marcus Schenkenberg,
Johnny Depp, Christopher Lee, Gisele Bündchen et al. Let's raise a
toast to Cartier, IWC, Montblanc, Ebel for achieving what they aimed
for: a knock out! |

LAUNCHES PILOT COLLECTION
Hollywood
celebrities, sports legends, watch connoisseurs and elite members
of society attended Swiss Watch manufacturer, IWC Schaffhausen's
launch of their new Pilot's collection of watches in Geneva. The
event also marked the world premiere of IWC's short film titled
"Pilots" starring actor John Malkovich. The event was organised
in true Hollywood style, inside an airplane hangar, at the Geneva
International Airport. Prominent among the high profile guests at
the grand soiree included Hollywood actors Orlando Bloom and Cate
Blanchett, tennis legend Boris Becker, athlete Edwin Moses, former
French Formula I star Jean Alesi, Japanese actress Kumiko Goto,
Spanish dancer Joaquin Cortes, art dealer Tim Jefferies and IWC
CEO Georges Kern.
A
music band featuring saxophonist and ex-Supertramp-member, John
Helliwell regaled the guests while another musical highlight was
a performance by Irish superstar Ronan Keating.
