 Luminor 1950 Regatta Rattrapante
Panerai
The case of new Regatta has an unusual new design, different from the 2008 edition; the steel is no longer polished but blackened with a treatment called DLC (Diamond-Like-Carbon) that makes it even harder and more resistant, in particular to corrosion. The Luminor case measures 44mm in diameter and DLC treatment has also been extended to the three buttons, winding crown and lever bridge. Waterproof to 100 metres (10 bars), this watch has a screwdown back plate, which is burnished and engraved with the event logo, edition year and the model's identifying numbers and production number. The dial, covered by 2-mm thick anti-reflective sapphire glass, has a black clou de Paris background. The new Luminor 1950 Regatta Rattrapante has a leather strap with burnished buckle bearing the Panerai logo.

 Nabucco Rivoluzione

Raymond Weil

The Swiss watchmaker marked Baselworld 2009 with the launch of a new, exceptional model from this exclusively
masculine range -- Nabucco Rivoluzione. It is marked by black, the colour of luxury, refinement, mystery and power. The sleek, 46mm-diameter case with its circular bezel and tachometer, is made from steel and titanium to ensure resistance and endurance. Ultra-light, hi-tech carbon fibre is used to decorate the case sides, providing solidity in addition to its stylish appearance. The dial of this mechanical timepiece also exudes a mysterious, avant-garde feel, which can be admired beneath a sapphire
crystal, 2.5mm thick, with double- sided anti-glare treatment. Coated in black, the three subdials (30-minutes
at 3 o'clock, 12-hours at 6 and 60-seconds at 9), along with the datewindow at 4:30, are positioned on a central zone in relief embellished with three screws for optimum clarity.
The indexes are perfectly integrated into the darkness of the dial; only the blue hands of the subdials, and the blue chronograph-hand, dare provide a contrast.

 T-Touch Expert Pilot
Tissot
In the Tissot T-Touch Expert Pilot watch, the aviation inspiration is evident in both a cockpit-style dial and a compass-look bezel. A touch of the crown and scratchproof crystal gives access to 11 separate functions. The large titanium case hosts a sporty rotating bezel equipped with full compass markings. Cockpit style expresses itself via the backcloth of a carbon dial, or for those seeking a touch of elegance, there is a sleek black dial. The watch is available with a fully integrated brown leather strap, the ideal complement to a traditional flying jacket. Alternatively, a titanium bracelet gives a high-tech look. This watch is the perfect co-pilot for active wearers.
