masterpiece is not only a statement
in technical perfection, but is also
integral to the identity of the Manufacture.
One can trace the traditions
of a proud past in the classical lines:
noble Roman numerals and
generous curves of this 43 mm steel
watch, a pleasure to look at and a
pleasure to touch.

Cape Cod, the elegant seaside
resort on the east coast of the
United States, is also the name
of a line of Hermès watches,
expressing a style based on ‘elegance in movement’.
The very first Cape Cod, created in
1991 by Henri d’Origny, was inspired
by the ‘Chaîne d’ancre’ bracelet and included its rectangular case in the
emblematic link of the House.
This case, more cambered today, has
given rise to the Cape Cod tonneau,
which revives the curvaceous design of the original link. Another signature
feature of the collection is the
double tour strap; an iconic design
which has reinforced its figurative
ties with the line since 1998. |
