Luminor Base Left Handed The Historic Panerai collection has undergone an evolution, with modifications that highlight the methods used in the 1940s while making the collection more up-to-date. To start with there is the dial, which is the "sandwich" type for all versions. Inspired directly by Panerai's "military" models of the past, these dials were designed to guarantee the best legibility of time information even at great depths. The "sandwich" description consists of two different plates: the upper, with perforated markers and numerals, carries the basic colour of the dial, while the lower plate is covered with a fine layer of luminous material, Super- LumiNova®, to achieve a luminosity which is extremely effective under all conditions. This watch comes with a new styling feature for left-handed wearers, with a device protecting the winding crown positioned on the left side of the case. The case is 45 mm in diameter, with removable wire loop strap attachments. Through the sapphire crystal back one can admire the Panerai OP X calibre, a hand-wound movement which operates the hands of the historical collection. The bridges, with Côtes de Genève decoration, and the polished blue-coloured screws proclaim the horological content of the movement. The hand-sewn natural leather strap with its inner part made of hypo-allergenic material, has a large-sized buckle with its familiar trapezoidal design and the name Panerai engraved upon it. |
